Remote Desktop is a technology that allows a local computer to connect to and control a remote PC over a network or the Internet. It is done through a Remote Desktop Service (RDS) or a terminal service that uses the company’s proprietary Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).
A thin client computer, also known as a thin client, is a replacement for a desktop PC. It provides you with all the functionality of a desktop PC without the high cost of purchase and maintenance.
There are many ways in which you can use a thin client. First, you can connect a thin client to your existing desktop or laptop computer. I am sure your computer is already connected to a modem or router, through which you get Internet connectivity. Simply purchase one of our Micro thin clients and connect them to the same router, modem or switch using an Ethernet cable. The thin client will now connect to your PC using the RDP protocol, and now you can work on both your PC and your thin client at the same time. There is no limit to how many thin clients you can connect to your computer in this manner. A thin client is a cheap and effective way of letting 5 to 10 or more people use your same desktop computer.
